It was created to make it easier to produce general-purpose books and articles within TeX. It is most often used for medium-to-large technical or scientific documents but it can be used for almost any form of publishing. It includes features designed for the production of technical and scientific documentation.
More than 90 participants joined this session and Md. Yeakub Ali, Lecturer, Dept. of ETE, RUET enlightened us about this amazing software and showed us the way to learn LaTex.
On 4th February, the second workshop was on COMSOL was presented by Mr. Alok Kumar Paul, Assistant Professor, EEE, RUET. COMSOL has an interactive interface that facilitates the modeling procedure and allows easy coupling of different physical processes. Almost 100 participants joined this session.

On 5th February, it was a workshop on "MATLAB(Simulink)" and almost 100 participants joined this session. MATLAB is a proprietary multi-paradigm programming language and numeric computing environment developed by MathWorks. MATLAB allows matrix manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs written in other languages. Dr. Tushar Kanti Roy, Assistant Professor of ETE, RUET enlightened us more about this amazing software MATLAB.

The 4th workshop of the series was on "PSSยฎE" on 6th February. Dr. Md. Apel Mahmud, Senior Lecturer, Deakin University, Australia presented the workshop on "PSSยฎE" in the attendance of more than 50 participants. Power System Simulator for Engineering is a software tool used by power system engineers to simulate electrical power transmission networks in steady-state conditions as well as over timescales of a few seconds to tens of seconds.
YouTube link: (90) Workshop on PSSยฎE by Dr Apel Mahmud, Organized by IICT, RUET & volunteered by IEEE RUET SB - YouTube Maintaining the continuity, our 5th workshop of the series workshop was on PSIM. S M Sanzad Lumen, Graduate Assistant, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia was the speaker of this workshop on 7th February along with 60 more participants. PSIM is an Electronic circuit simulation software package, designed specifically for use in power electronics and motor drive simulations but can be used to simulate any electronic circuit. Developed by Powersim, PSIM uses nodal analysis and the trapezoidal rule integration as the basis of its simulation algorithm.
