Beginning with the goal of acquiring industry experience and learning how to use conceptual knowledge beneficially, the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ก ๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ญ๐๐ซ, in association with the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ก, organized an exclusive industrial visit to Electropac Engineering Ltd. in Shakpala, Bogura, on December 15, 2023, with around 35 participants. The bus started the journey ahead to Bogura from RUET bus stand at 8.00 AM with enthusiastic particulars. It took more than 2 hours and we reached the Electropac factory around 10.45 AM.
Firstly we gathered all together in front of the factory. ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐จ๐ฌ๐ก ๐๐๐ง๐ฃ๐๐ง ๐๐ก๐๐ง, ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ (๐ &๐) ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ๐., ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐ค๐๐ซ, ๐๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ซ (๐& ๐)๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ๐., ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐๐. ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ง ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ญ. ๐๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ซ (๐ &๐) ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ๐. presented there and introduced themselves along with their factory and the working procedure.
After that, they divided us into two groups. They showed their transformers and how transformers' coils are connected, how transformers are made, and from raw to approved useable transformers mechanism was explained by Engr. Paritosh Ranjan Khan. Correspondingly the other group was shown the switchgear(low and high tension switchgear), power factor improvement mechanism, control mechanism, and internal working procedure was amazingly explained by the officers. All the engineers there were very cooperative and demonstrated the operation procedure of the plants briefly to the attendees.
Following that, a Token of Gratitude was presented to Engr. Paritosh Ranjan Khan, Engr. Gour Gopal Sarkar and Engr. Md. Belal Hossen. They arranged refreshment snacks for our attendees.
Lunch at Bogura brought the industrial excursion to a close. After that, our team visited Mohsthangar and its surrounding area. Finally, around 6:30 PM the return trek to Rajshahi began. Finally, at about 9:30 PM the voyage came to an end at RUET. The industrial visit was successfully ended since it met its objectives and satisfied the participants' thirst for a practical understanding of their theoretical concepts.

To begin the eagerly anticipated two-day big program, both the participants and the students joined the rally as well with great passion and enthusiasm.
Following the rally, there was an inaugural program. Four competitive activities took place on the first day: ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐๐, ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฌ๐ญ, ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฌ๐ญ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐ก๐จ๐ฐ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ . The participants began congregating early in the morning on campus. The majority of participants received kits the day before December 1st, which included an ID card, a t-shirt, a key ring, a notebook, event information, and a food token. On the day of the event, the kit distribution station was open as well in case any participants failed to receive one.
There were Industrial and Technical Talks, in which our proud alumnus gave a wonderful speech about the industrial as well as the technical advancement of our generation and how we can also be a part of it. Their enlightening knowledge inspired participants to strive for a better future for themselves and others, giving them fresh hope. They also urged us to give back to our dear nation and do something for ourselves. There were a great number of participants, and they were all really eager. Participants gave their all during the two days of the industrial and technical discussions.
The fierce competition of the ๐๐จ๐๐จ ๐
๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ค๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ค ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ฒ ๐ was eye-opening. It was entertaining to watch, and both the competitors and the general student body were driven to the brink of excitement for this event. At the end of the day, there was a closing ceremony that was informative due to the presence of our honorable VC Sir, the Department Head Sir, as well as other teachers, alumni, volunteers, and participants. Following the announcement of the winners, certificates, and prize money were given to them. Our VC sir gave us a very inspiring speech which motivated us greatly.
Snacks were provided for participants and the volunteers who put in a lot of effort to make this event a success, along with lunch for two days. In the end, the event proved to be a success, and we intend to host similar occasions more frequently in order to encourage and uplift our kids, who will make up the next generation of our country.
Then the event started on time. Our honorable speaker conducted the whole event fruitfully and shared his valuable insights throughout the event. Our honorable Vice-Chancellor Sir Dr. Engr. Md. Jahangir Alam attended in the middle of the event. He delivered a wonderful speech to our audience. He appreciated arranging this type of event with our honorable ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐๐ณ๐ณ๐๐ค Sir who is internationally recognized for his outstanding research works. Our audiences learned the necessary details about thesis writing and that will help in their future higher studies and afterward. At the very end of the session, the advisor of our ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ, Oishi Jyoti Maโam gave an inspiring speech.
There was a QA session at the end of the event. Participants made the event vibrant with their supportive cooperation. There was an arrangement of some refreshment snacks and lastly, there was a photo session with our speakers and teachers and all the participants.

The aim of the event was to inspire and encourage students in the areas of ๐๐๐ข๐๐ง๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ , and ๐๐๐ญ๐ก that foster future talent, and as such feel passionate about community-based initiatives. Our event focused on students in classes ๐ to ๐ to pursue the main objective is to reinforce experiential and contextual learning. The event was divided into two phases. The first phase included the ๐ฌ๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ and the second phase was the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ.
Through experiments and hands-on experiences, school visit days organized by the IEEE RUET Student Branch encouraged students to explore their interests. They were shown experiments based on ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ-๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ง๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ, ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ฌ, ๐๐
๐ and various electrical themes enhancing their understanding of electrical engineering. Students participated in Q&A sessions, which offered them further insights. We designed quiz questions based on the training subjects, covering key ideas and accommodating varying comprehension levels. Then through the Quiz competition, students were shortlisted to 25 students. They were brought to RUET for lab visits as the second phase of the event. The top 3 students were further awarded based on a quiz competition regarding the lab visits and ๐๐๐๐ questions.
๐๐๐๐ Lab Visit Day:
Those students were brought to ๐๐๐๐ for lab visits on ๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐๐๐, it was led by the dedicated volunteers of the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ก to show the ๐๐๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ and ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐๐. Especially, in the ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐๐ visit, students were able to learn about various ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ, and ๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ. They got a chance to see and work with different types of electronic equipment such as ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฌ, ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฌ, and ๐๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐จ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ. Both lab visits provided valuable hands-on learning experiences and gave students a glimpse into the fields of electronics and machine technology. And the event concluded with gifts, certificates, and snacks, leaving a lasting impact on students, inspiring them to excel as lifelong learners. Those two days were remarkable for students empowering and inspiring all students to excel as lifelong learners.

It was a cloudy morning with steady rain, but that did not deter our eager new members from attending this thrilling event. New members, elderly members, and our respected teachers shared their perspectives and gained new knowledge at the celebration.

Then, our secretary of ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐, ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐๐ก๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ฅ, delivered a very insightful discourse on what IEEE is and how you can benefit from it, accompanied by a slide show.
The participants in this event then competed in a quiz competition. After the quiz competition, our esteemed ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ก๐ข ๐๐ฒ๐จ๐ญ๐ข ๐๐๐ฆ gave a very enlightening speech in which she urged students to learn more and be more creative in order to produce ever-increasing numbers of new inventions. After her insightful address, there was a prize-giving ceremony for the winner of the ๐๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, the winner and runners-up of the ๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ณ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, and the winner of the ๐๐ฎ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง. The day concluded with a photo session with our esteemed teachers and members of ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ All participants were provided with refreshments.

The webinar was meticulously focused on offering invaluable guidance and knowledge to individuals aspiring to further their education beyond their native shores. The event featured luminaries and experts in the field, who generously shared their knowledge and experiences, rendering it a highly informative and engaging affair.
The IEEE RUET Student Branch team gave a warm welcome prior to our two intellectual speakers Arefin Islam , a Doctoral Student, at the Holcombe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Clemson University, South Carolina, USA, and Jannatul Mawa Nijhum , a Graduate student, at Holcombe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Clemson University, South Carolina, USA.
Jannatul Mawa Nijhum delivered a captivating keynote talk. Arefin Islam gave a general overview of the advantages of studying abroad, the application procedure, selecting the right country and suitable course, highlighting the opportunities for higher studies and the way of preparing for language tests, exposure to different cases for applying abroad, and ways of getting scholarships and funds. After that, Jannatul Mawa Nijhum Apu focused on how to efficiently email the professors for research assistantships for graduates. She precisely shared real-life scenarios and shared her experiences.

During the Q&A session, the audience participated fully by asking questions. The inquiries covered anything from advice on getting through scholarship interviews to visa requirements. The annual general meeting of the IEEE RUET Student Branch for the year 2023, coupled with the valedictory celebration commemorating the departure of the 17 series, was solemnized with utmost ardor and zeal on the 26th of July 2023, at the esteemed Masterchef Restaurant, situated in Rajshahi.
The friendly gathering was illuminated by the presence of the honorable Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul Goffar Khan, Professor, Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, RUET, Director, IQAC, RUET, Prof. Dr. Md. Samiul Habib, Professor, Dept. of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, RUET, Counselor, IEEE RUET Student Branch, Alok Kumar Paul, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, RUET, Oishi Jyoti, Lecturer, Dept. of Electrical & Computer Engineering, RUET, Md Abu Ismail Siddique, Lecturer, Dept. of Electrical & Telecommunication Engineering, RUET. Besides, 56 passionate IEEE RUET Student Branch members attended the meeting.
The program began at 7:30 P.M. with a recital of the Holy Quran. Then, one person from each series delivered their speech in turn. Following that, our distinguished faculty members delivered insightful talks one by one. Their insightful comments have educated and pushed us to go deeper into the realm of engineering to become sound engineers with knowledge, competence, and a nice and appealing attitude. The distinguished volunteers and members of the IEEE RUET Student Branch led the session with zeal and precision. Sayed Waliullah Oli and Md. Zahidul Islam from EEEโ18, Durjoy Saha and Md. Sajibul Hoque from EEEโ19 was awarded the best volunteer award for their dedicated accomplishment. Crests and certificates were presented to members of the departing 17 series, as well as executive committee members from the 17 series as a token of appreciation for their dedicated performance for IEEE RUET SB.
Afterward, All the former chairs presented the debit and credits of the societies. Then, the former vice-chair, Taioba Ahmed Sowa declared the new executive members of the IEEE RUET RAS SB Chapter and IEEE RUET IAS SB Chapter, then the former chair of IEEE CS RUET SB Chapter, Mohiuddin Al Faruki Akib announced the new executives of IEEE RUET CS SB Chapter, and the former chair of IEEE RUET WIE SB AG, Rifah Tasnia declared their new executive members of IEEE RUET WIE AG. Then Md. Samin Safayat Islam, former Chair of the IEEE RUET SB then declared the newly formed IEEE RUET Signal Processing Society Student Branch Chapter and also announced the advisor of this society Dr. Mohammod Abdul Motin, sir. Finally, he announced the new executive committee of IEEE RUET SB 2023-24. Then the formal part of the meeting ended with the official photo session with the respective teachers. The meeting ended with a well-arranged dinner party. Around 10.30 P.M. the event came to an end.

This webinar was held on 8th April 2023 at 10:30AM with a number of enthusiastic students.The speaker in the webinar was Hiro Mia,Lead SQ Engineer (Automation), Facilitator of SQA Learning Academy. After giving a gentle welcoming address, our honorable speaker Hiro Mia shared his valuable insights and expertise in SQA and provided guidelines about the career build up process as a SQA Engineer. The session was beneficial, interactive and informative providing a clear idea of Software Testing Fundamental, Functional and Non Functional Testing, SDLC & STLC Methodologies, Bug Life Cycle, Management Tools, Automation Testing, Career Path, Job Market & Salary, and Contrast Between the Domain knowledge and the Technical knowledge.
The seminar provided participants with an extensive understanding of the SQA field and equipped them with the knowledge and skills essential to pursue a successful and rewarding career in SQA. After the discussion, there was an interactive question-answer session.There were 45 participants in the webinar. Before ending, MD. Zahidul Islam,Chair, IEEE RUET IAS SB Chapter, handed over an E-Crest and an E-Certificate to the speaker as a small token of appreciation. After delivering a warm closing comment, this significant webinar ended at 12:30 PM.

To uphold the reverence of Ramadan among former and current IEEE members, the IEEE RUET Student Branch organised โ๐ง๐ฎ๐ท๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐๐น'๐ถ๐ถ๐ณ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ 2.0 : ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐๐ง ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ตโ on 06 April, 2023( 14th Ramadan 1444 Hijri), Thursday at Cafe at Old19, Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh to celebrate the rapprochement of this holy Ramadan.
Alike every year in this blessing month IEEE RUET SB has arranged wonderful interactive get together with all the current and former members. About ten successful senior IEEE members were present at this Iftar party. The event started with a short introduction and greetings with the former seniors and all the current members. After Iftar, current and former IEEE members had a long interactive conversation. Senior IEEE members shared their stories about their wonderful experience with IEEE RUET SB, as well as spoke about their hardships and dedication to advancing this student branch and giving them another dynamic. They also gave their valuable suggestions on organising more impactful events and seminars to make this student branch more appealing to its members.
At the end of the event, our present and former senior IEEE members assured us to be by our side if we need any career-related help from them. The Iftar party came to an end around 8:00 pm. This iftar party provided a great opportunity for current IEEE members to connect with former IEEE members and to share valuable experiences and ideas.
On a fine evening of 17th March, IEEE RUET Student Branch arranged an event named โReunited and Refreshedโ to reconcile the former and present members of IEEE RUET Student Branch. For the very first time the department of EEE, RUET organized a reunion of EEE alumni. Following the occasion and the opportunity, this was the first alumni meetup of IEEE RUET Student Branch. Members that were present in that meetup shared their memories, experiences and journey with IEEE RUET Student Branch. Finally, the meetup ended with refreshment snacks and a photo session.
