The awaited ceremony began with a warm welcome from the hosts, Aurchan Mubarak Hasan (EEE 22) and Rysha Mahrill Orin (EEE 22) who greeted a distinguished audience that included respected teachers, honorable guests, and IEEE members from various batches. The program officially commenced with a spiritual segment featuring recitations from the Holy Qurโan by ๐๐. ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ข ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ง ๐๐ก๐๐ฐ๐จ๐ง (๐๐๐ ๐๐) and from Hindu scriptures by ๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ซ (๐๐๐ ๐๐),reflecting the spirit of harmony and inclusiveness. Following that, an informative introduction to IEEE and its global mission was presented, setting the tone for the eveningโs focus on innovation, leadership, and community.
The welcome speech segment included reflections from representatives of the 19 to 23 series, each sharing heartfelt experiences and gratitude for the platform IEEE provided. This was followed by speeches from respected faculty members and advisors, who expressed appreciation for the branchโs contributions and encouraged the continuity of its impactful activities. Their words highlighted the importance of guidance, collaboration, and heritage in student-led organizations.
Next, the award-giving ceremony recognized the dedication of various student leaders and volunteers. Crest and certificate distribution was arranged for the outgoing executive members and society chapter representatives, including chairs and vice chairs from multiple IEEE sub-groups such as Robotics & Automation, Industry Applications, Computer Society, Signal Processing Society, and Women in Engineering. A special moment was the announcement of the Best Volunteer Awards 2025, presented to six standout volunteers as a recognition of their commitment and service in roles ranging from design and logistics to media and content writing.
One of the most exciting parts of the event was the announcement of the newly elected Executive Committee for 2025. ๐๐. ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ข ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ง ๐๐ก๐๐ฐ๐จ๐ง(๐๐๐ ๐๐), the outgoing Chair, delivered a brief speech before disclosing the names of the incoming leadership team. The program concluded with closing remarks from the hosts, expressing gratitude to all guests, participants, and members. With heartfelt goodbyes and best wishes for the new committee, the evening ended on a high note, celebrating past achievements and looking forward to a future of innovation and unity.
