Rusho - RUET
K. M. Nasim Rusho (former Chair of IEEE RUET Student Branch ExCom 2012-13) was featured on the student page segment named "Campuser Priomukh" in one of the top Bangladeshi daily newspaper named 'Prothom Alo' on December 22, 2013. He not only confined himself in IEEE but also worked for Mozilla Firefox, Opera & Microsoft's on-campus partner. A good leader & pioneer for all fellow IEEE RUET Student Branch members.

Robo-Droid Championship
The mega event Robo-Droid Championship by IEEE RUET Student Branch was featured in the IEEE R10 Newsletter June-2016 (page 26). It was one of the biggest tech events ever happened in RUET consisting of 3 categories of competitions.

First IEEE BDS Student/GOLD Congress
IEEE RUET Student Branch organized first-ever Student and Gold Congress in Bangladesh on 20-22 September 2012 ar Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) where all student branches and GOLD members were invited to attend. The mega event has been featured in IEEE R10 Newsletter December-2012 (page 29).

IEEE BDS SWYC 2016
IEEE RUET Student Branch team took part in IEEE BDS SWYC 2016 hosted by the University of Dhaka. Our team earned the 2nd Runner Up position in the poster presentation on that event. The event featured in one of the top English newspaper of Bangladesh named "The Daily Sun" on 5 November 2016.

Workshop on LaTex & PCB
IEEE RUET WIE Student Branch Affinity Group arranged a workshop on PCB designing & Latex from 21-22 April 2017. Bith IEEE & Non-IEEE members joined that workshop. This whole workshop was divided into two parts where training on LaTex & PCB designing was taken separately. This workshop has been featured in IEEE R10 Newsletter July-2017 (page 14).

Ultimate Innovator Hunt for IEEE SS12 Innovation Challenge and Maker Fair 2018
In cooperation with the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE), RUET; IEEE RUET Student Branch hosted this project showcasing contest. The winners got the chance to attend the SS12 Innovation Challenge and Maker Fair in Sri Lanka in September 2018. The team 'Drogon' (one of the winners of this event) earned 5th place in the final round of Maker Fair Track for RUET. Our this event featured in IEEE R10 Newsletter October-2018 (page 15-16)
