You need to follow the simple instructions to prepare a CV and then send it:
1.IEEE members and non-IEEE members both are eligible to participate in this contest.
2.No registration fee is required.
3.Your CV should not exceed two pages.
4.Don’t use your real name and own photo on CV.
5.Send your CV in PDF format.
6.Your CV will be judged on two criteria – Creativity and Presentation.
7.The subject of the mail while sending will be " CV Writing Competition".
8.On the body of the mail write your Name, University Name, Department, Roll Number.

IEEE RUET IAS Student Branch Chapter is going to organize a workshop on “Plasmonic Sensors” in association with IEEE RUET Student Branch and IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh. The seminar will be held on “5th November 2019”.
A plasmon is an special electromagnetic wave that can exist on the metal surface. These waves lead to new optical behaviors because they can combine both light and oscillating surface charges.
Plasmonic is a bridging technology for electronics and photonics, has been extensively studied and widely explored for nanophotonics, magneto-optic data storage, microscopy, solar cells, and sensing applications such as biological and chemical detection. Surface plasmon (SP) waves are coupled electron-photon modes at the boundaries between a metal and a dielectric.
Photonic crystal fiber sensors PCF-based sensors are advantageous over standard optical fiber sensors in many aspects. They have potential applications in environmental monitoring, industry, biomedicine, food preservation, and many more. These sensors work based on advanced and flexible phototonic crystal fiber (PCF) structures, controlled light propagation for the measurement of amplitude, phase, polarization and wavelength of the spectrum, and PCF-incorporated interferometry techniques.
PCF sensors have a wide range of applications. Measurement of different physical parameters like temperature, pressure, strain, twist, torsion, curvature, bend, and electromagnetic field are a few of them.
In this seminar, the focus will be on the following content: Introduction to plasmonics, Incorporation plasmonics in sensor applications, Description of sensors in different platforms and Introduction to photonic crystal fiber (PCF).
