IEEE RUET Signal Processing Society Student Branch Chapter started the new journey with the target of spreading extensive knowledge in the field of image processing, signal processing and other wave related research and systems among the students of all kinds.
Signal processing entails changing or manipulating data such that one can perceive things in it that aren't visible through direct observation. Signal processing is a branch of engineering, mathematics, and computer science concerned with the processing, analysis, and manipulation of analog and digital signals. Signals can be any sort of data, including audio, video, sensor data, pictures, and many others. Speech recognition, audio and video processing, image processing, telecommunications, control systems, filtering, noise reduction, compression, and feature extraction are a few popular signal processing applications.
In the field of research and extensive knowledge this society members will get the potential to enhance the research related skills and opportunities for interpersonal connectivity in communication sectors as well as research workings. In the era of digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, signal processing knowledge is compulsory for the engineering students and researchers. Any current student member or graduate member of the IEEE RUET Student Branch is eligible to join IEEE RUET SPS Student Branch Chapter by applying and paying a nominal fee. Signal Processing Society starts the journey in RUET to connect more enthusiastic minds from many different platforms for the rectification of knowledge and skills.
